When you have legal or financial questions and challenges, Continuum EAP has a cooperative program to help you. You can obtain expert legal or financial consultation on issues such as:
- Marriage
- Purchasing a home
- Preparing a will or trust
- Divorce and legal separation
- Child support
- Adoption
- Bankruptcy
- Retirement Planning
- Civil or criminal matters
- Tax consultation and preparation
- Elder care obligations and more
*Employment related matters are not covered by this service.
Addressing your legal and financial issues is easy and confidential.
- Call Continuum and discuss the situation with an EAP professional. If it is determined that legal or financial counsel is advisable, the counselor will refer you to a participating attorney or financial counselor.
- Your first legal or financial consultation is free. At this consultation you and the legal/financial professional can determine if additional services are needed. You will be advised of the costs and may be eligible to receive a 25% discount as a member of Continuum EAP.
- You may continue to work with the same attorney or financial counselor or you may be referred to another attorney better suited to handle your particular needs.
- There is also a low-cost legal document preparation service that can help you complete legal documents from the comfort of your home without the time and cost involved in using an attorney.
- In addition, you have access to our legal/financial website which includes information on more than 1000 legal and financial topics and over 1200 legal and financial forms for your use.
