Olivia received her master’s degree in clinical counseling from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and holds a bachelor’s degree in social work. As a licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a clinical program manager with the Nebraska Dept. of Corrections, Olivia has worked with a diverse clientele on a variety of concerns such as mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, and interpersonal and relationship issues. She capitalizes on this experience to provide her audiences with insight and tools that can be quickly applied. Additional qualifications: Olivia is a provisionally licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing and is part of the Nebraska CISM team. She is a trained forensic interviewer, crisis negotiator, and is a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team with Corrections and NEMA. Olivia is also a Certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor for suicide prevention.
